With fafsa when filling out for our 3 kids we’re not married but live in same house. Do we put how many people still in house or just the amount that we are each responsible for?

You do need to complete the FAFSA to be able to use NJSTARS

Everyone has to complete the FAFSA before any school will look to see if you are eligible for any other monies.

Can parents make payments to the college for dorms instead of loans?

You don’t have to report unearned income like VA disability compensation income or child support on federal taxes but do you have to report it on fafsa

When reporting assets, like a rental property, do you deduct the amount you owe to the lender?
